Fires at River Ranch Hunting club

As of March 28,2023: Polk County Fire Rescue Crews are working in conjunction with Florida Forest Service battling a fire approximately 500 acres at River Ranch Hunting Club. There are currently active fires in the camping and hunting grounds.
Several camps have been destroyed and we are asking for people to avoid the area. Beware of heavy smoke and fog around the area of Hwy 60.
